Using iPad as a Remote and Screen Mirroring from iPad

First, let’s add the remote to the Control Center:

• Open Settings
• Click Control Center
• Under More Controls, tap green plus sign next to Apple TV Remote
• Return to Home screen.

Now, let’s use the Remote:

• Open Control Center by swiping down in the top right corner
• Tap on the Remote icon
• Select the Apple TV from the dropdown list that you wish to control
• Enter the four-digit code that appears on the Apple TV
• Use the touch area to navigate around and tap the touch area to select
• Click the back arrow on the remote to go back to the previous page or home page

To Screen Mirror from the iPad:

• Open Control Center

• Select Screen Mirror icon

• Select the Apple TV you want to screen mirror too

• Enter the 4-digit code
